The Hunger Games 30 days challenge
Day 7: A scene that made you cry
Stay with me.
It’s a long shot, it’s suicide maybe, but I do the only thing I can think of. I lean in and kiss Peeta full on the mouth. His whole body starts shuddering, but I keep my lips pressed to his until I have to come up for air. My hands slide up his wrists to clasp his.
“Don’t let him take you from me.” Peeta’s panting hard as he fights the nightmares raging in his head. “No. I don’t want to …” I clench his hands to the point of pain. “Stay with me.” His pupils contract to pinpoints, dilate again rapidly, and then return to something resembling normalcy. “Always,” he murmurs.
You Me At Six- Stay With Me
Hello! Today’s song not only fits the Hunger Games series well but the song title is a line from the book too! This song was suggested by tieknots! So I could really see this for Katniss and Peeta’s relationship in Catching Fire because she is pushing him away but he still is holding on. Also the title is just a bonus ;) So just look at the lyrics and see:
You’ve got a lot to say for the one that walked away
I give, you take
It’s the way it’s always been
Oh, how do I know if I should stay or just go?
The bottom line is this way that I’ll never know[Chorus:]
Stay with me (stay with me, stay with me)
Stay with me, oh (a-woah, a-woah, a-woah…)
You’ve got a lot to say for the one that pushed me away
I give, you take
Somethings, they never change
Just change
[Chorus]
I never knew that I could be this way
I never knew that I could walk away
These things take time to grow
It’s been said that time heals woes
But no, I won’t be controlled
And so the story goes
[Chorus]
And now I know that I can be this way
And now I know that I can walk awayI love all your suggestions so much because it makes it so easy for me to do the songs you all give me! :D Well thanks again to tieknots for suggesting a perfect song and everyone have an amazing day!
